Street performers in Yokohama

StreetYokohama is a place where you can see street performances in various places.

The history of street art was started from " Noge Town" the West side of Sakuragicho station.

Noge was originally a bustling and lively place, but gradually the east side of Sakuragicho station has flourished as the Minato-Mirai area. To liven up the town, the "Noge Street Performance Festival" was held in 1986.

After that, the city of Yokohama became the town which cheered the street entertainer.

Every weekend, you can see the street performance at Yamashita Park and Minato-Mirai.

The place is held in front of a public restroom next to the convenience store "Lawson" in Yamashita Park.　Street performers can be seen every Saturday and Sunday.

The place where street performance is performed is the square next to the dock yard garden beside the landmark tower. The street performance is done every weekend here.
